Jr. High Camps, designed for campers finishing 6th through 8th grades is a great chance to grow in your faith, try new things, make new friends and spend time outside. Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins with college-aged summer staff that have been extensively screened and trained. The cabins have indoor plumbing.

Jr. High Camp is offered two different weeks.

June 15-20 offers 3 Majors (options) that allow campers to specialize in an area that interests them. See below for descriptions of the Majors. Registration closes one week prior to the event on June 8, 2025.

June 22-27 offers a traditional camp experience as well as a ranch camp experience. Registration closes one week prior to the event on June 15, 2025.

Ukulele Major (add $95 to registration fee)—Learn the basics of the baritone Ukulele in group lessons. Play along with your favorite campfire songs each evening. Every camper will go home with their own new baritone ukulele.

Rocketry and Aeronautics (add $125 to registration fee)—You will spend time each morning exploring aeronautical principles, space science and rocket engineering while discovering connections to Biblical teaching. Each participant will build and launch a mid-power rocket and take it home at the end of the week.

Ranch Camp (add $125 to registration fee)—Spend your mornings at nearby Camp Cedars with their horses. Under the direction of their trained wranglers, campers learn about, care for and ride horses each morning (Monday through Thursday).
